Do my clients and subs have to pay for accounts?
No. Client and sub portals are free and don't require anything to be installed — they open in the browser from an invite link, and each person sees only their own project or work.
Does the field app work without cell coverage?
Yes. Time punches, daily logs, and photos queue on the phone and sync automatically when coverage returns — with safeguards so nothing posts twice.
How do payments work?
Invoices and pay applications include a secure pay-online link processed by Stripe. Payments reconcile to the job automatically, and AR aging shows you who's behind.
Can it talk to my accounting software?
EZ Construct exports payroll summaries and reports to CSV, and job financials can be exported for QuickBooks. And since it's part of the EZ family, deeper accounting integration is where the roadmap points.
How long does setup take?
You can be estimating on day one — the cost catalog comes pre-seeded and every module works out of the box. Bringing in your contacts, templates, and current jobs is typically a week of evenings, not a consulting engagement.
